IVF Treatment

The in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment process begins with the assessments of expert physicians. The IVF doctor initially examines the problems and reasons the prospective parents are experiencing in this regard. The prospective mother undergoes an examination, and the antral follicle count is determined through ultrasound. All necessary tests are conducted for both the prospective mother and father.

Stages of IVF Treatment:

1- Examination and Treatment Process:
The IVF process starts with a thorough examination of the prospective parents.
The IVF doctor assesses the specific challenges and reasons for seeking treatment.

2- Ovum Monitoring and Growth:
Monitoring the growth of the eggs is a crucial stage.
The growth of the eggs is tracked closely.

3- Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) Process:
Once the eggs have reached the appropriate size, the ovum pick-up procedure is performed.
During OPU, mature eggs are retrieved from the ovaries.

4- Embryo Monitoring in IVF:
After the retrieval, the development and progress of the embryos are closely monitored in the laboratory.

5- Embryo Transfer Operation:
The developed embryos are transferred to the uterus in an embryo transfer procedure.
This is a crucial step where the embryos are placed in the woman’s uterus.

6- Pregnancy Test in IVF:
Following the embryo transfer, a pregnancy test is conducted to determine the success of the IVF treatment.
The test confirms whether pregnancy has been achieved.

7- Follow-Up with Periodic Tests for the Prospective Mother:
The prospective mother is regularly monitored through periodic tests.
This helps ensure the well-being of both the mother and the developing pregnancy.
